In October 2010, Polish Society for Behavioral Psychology and Polish Behavioral Therapy Association embarked on a joint initiative aimed at establishing such standards for the education of behavioral therapists that would ensure that the therapy conducted by these specialists was characterized by the highest quality, effectiveness, and ethical level. This gave rise to a system of behavior therapist training and certification, known as Polish Behavioral Therapist License. The system also covers granting qualifications to conduct supervisions, training courses, and license traineeships.
